How it works

  1. 1. Propose a few times and write down who you're inviting.
  2. 2. Tap Send invites — the app opens your Messages once per person, each with their own private link. You send them; the app never sends anything.
  3. 3. Answers land against each person's name automatically. Pick the time that works, and everyone's link updates to show the plan.

Common questions

Do my friends need the app?

No. They tap their link and answer in a browser. No app, no account, no password — and nothing to type, not even their name.

Why does everyone get a different link?

So their answer lands against their name without anyone typing anything, and so you never have to work out whether "Sara" and "Sarah" are the same person. It also means a link is personal: whoever holds it can answer as that person, so they shouldn't be forwarded.

Can people see each other's answers?

No. Answers go only to you. Nobody invited can see anyone else's answer — not even whether someone else has replied. The one exception is the optional guest list: after you lock in a time, you can choose to show the names of people who said yes to it. That's off unless you turn it on.

Someone I forgot needs an invite.

Open the event and tap the + button. They get their own link, and you can send it to them straight away.

How do I remove someone?

Open the event, tap Edit (or swipe their row), and remove them. Their answers and their link go with them. You can add them again later — that issues a fresh link.

An invitee lost their link or got a new phone.

Their link works on any device and any browser — it's the same link, so forwarding it to themselves is all they need. If it's gone entirely, remove them and add them again to issue a new one, then send it.

Two times both work. Which one gets picked?

You do. Nothing is ever locked in automatically. The results screen ranks the times and shows which ones actually work; you choose, and only then does everyone's page update.

How do I get it in my own calendar?

Once you've locked in a time, tap Add to my calendar on the event. It opens in your Calendar app, where you can add the others as attendees if you want to. Invitees get their own Add to calendar button on their page.

How long does an event last?

Everything about an event auto-deletes about 30 days after its last proposed date.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings in the app and tap Delete account. It erases all of your events and everyone's answers, and disconnects SheduleIt from your Apple ID.
